The Nasushiobara City Tourism Bureau, a general incorporated association, was registered as a “Registered Destination Management Organization (DMO)” by the Japan Tourism Agency on March 29, 2024. Since being registered as a “Candidate DMO (Tourism Regional Development Organization)” on March 28, 2022, the bureau has worked in collaboration with various stakeholders in the region to realize the basic policy of Nasushiobara City’s Tourism Master Plan: creating sustainable and competitive tourist destinations. This has involved coordinating efforts such as creating experiential content utilizing local resources, improving the acceptance environment, and disseminating information and promotions. Moving forward, the bureau will continue to work in collaboration with various stakeholders, aiming to increase tourism and travel consumption by formulating strategies and implementing promotions based on the continuous collection and analysis of data, and striving to develop the tourism region.
