Nasu Senbonmatsu Ranch
It began as a Western-style farm opened by Matsukata Masayoshi on this land.
Because the area was covered with dense, natural red pines, Masayoshi Matsukata named it "Senbonmatsu" (Thousand Pines), and this became the name of the area. Even today, there are still many red pines growing here, and the area has been selected as one of the "100 Scenic Spots of Tochigi."
