Special Exhibition: Nasu-Shiobara depicted on old maps

Maps are diagrams that use letters and symbols to depict the state of the land, and are valuable documents that allow us to see what it looked like at the time they were created. This time, we will be exhibiting maps from the Edo period and maps from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods to show what Nasu-Shiobara looked like at the time.

Exhibition explanation

Capacity: 20 people (first come, first served)
The person in charge of the special exhibition will introduce the highlights of the exhibition in an easy-to-understand manner.

Tour "Walking along the Hara Highway with old maps"

Venue: Nakagawa (Hongo-cho) – Meet and disband in front of Kuroiso Station Nasunogahara Museum
Capacity: 15 people (lottery)
Contents Walk along the roads remaining from the Edo period in Nasu-Shiobara city while looking at old maps.

Adults 300 yen (250 yen), high school and university students 200 yen (150 yen), elementary and junior high school students 100 yen (50 yen) The price in parentheses is for groups (20 or more people) *The third Sunday of every month (February 15th and March 15th) is free as it is Family Day.
