[Ended] A riot of flowers! Myounji Peony Festival

The Peony Festival has begun at Myounji Temple, the temple of flowers.

Within the grounds of Myoun-ji Temple, an ancient Rinzai sect temple with a history of 830 years, there is a peony garden that is lovingly tended by members of the Peony Cultivation Society.

During this season, various flowers, such as wisteria and azaleas, bloom all over the temple grounds, creating a veritable profusion of flowers. Myounji is truly a temple of flowers.
