Karasugamori Hill

The groundbreaking ceremony for the excavation of the Nasu Canal was held here in 1885, and from the top of the hill you can see the townscape known as the "grid" where Mishima Michitsune divided the farmland into lots. Karasugamori Hill Park is known as a famous flower spot, with cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, azaleas, and more planted.
