A magnificent rock formation formed when lava flowing from the eruption of Mt. Takahara cooled and solidified.

Just beyond the Sukkan Bridge is a magnificent rock formation, named Naginata Rock because of its shape. This trail is dotted with many other stunning rock formations created by volcanoes, such as Naginata Rock, which can be observed.
