Sakasugi is the largest cedar tree in Tochigi Prefecture, made up of two cedar trees joined at the base.

The "Sakasugi" (reverse cedar) at Shiobara Hachimangu Shrine is made up of two cedar trees joined at the base, making it the largest cedar tree in Tochigi Prefecture. The cedar on the western side is the male tree (approximately 40 meters tall and 11 meters in circumference), while the cedar on the eastern side is the female tree (approximately 33 meters tall and 8 meters in circumference). They are estimated to be about 1,500 years old. They have also been designated as a national natural monument.
