Oyama Approach
It offers beautiful scenery when the leaves turn red or green.
This is the approach to the Oyama Tomb, the grave of Admiral Iwao Oyama, a Meiji era statesman, and his family. The Nasunogahara area, including the Oyama approach, was designated a Japan Heritage Site in 2018 as "The Future Envisioned by Meiji Aristocrats - The Romantic Tale of Nasunogahara Development." The approach is approximately 200 meters long, and in autumn it is a spectacular spot for viewing the autumn leaves.
