Roadside Station Meiji no Mori Kuroiso
One of the joys of the event is feeling the seasons through the vegetables on display: lush leafy vegetables in spring, fresh tomatoes, eggplants, and corn in summer, potatoes in autumn and lotus roots that have thrived beyond summer, and surprisingly sweet radishes in winter. We hope that the vegetables grown by Nasu Shiobara farmers will add color to your dining table and contribute to a richer life for everyone.
Nasu-Shiobara is Honshu's largest producer of raw milk.
Within Nasu-Shiobara City, the Aoki district, where the roadside station Meiji-no-Mori Kuroiso is located, is a particularly thriving dairy farming area.
Just a short drive from the roadside station will bring you pastoral scenery, including the sounds of cows, views of cowsheds, and fields of carefully cultivated grass by dairy farmers.
However, dairy farmers often have little contact with customers in the course of their daily work.
By setting up a dairy processing plant at Meiji-no-Mori Kuroiso, you can experience the region's raw milk firsthand.
We aim to serve as a bridge between dairy farmers and customers, and become a place that will shape the future of dairy farming in this region,
delivering delicious dairy products and the resulting processed goods to you all.
