Why not enjoy a blissful time surrounded by hot springs, nature, and delicious eel? The eel sauce has been passed down from father to son for over 60 years, and continues to this day. Domestically-caught eels are delivered alive and allowed to swim in water for a sufficient amount of time before being butchered. After being skewered and lightly grilled, they are dipped in hot spring water, covered in sauce, and grilled until golden brown. Once the eels are fragrant and shiny, they are served over rice with the sauce poured over them.
