Nasunohara Museum: Showa Retro and Emotional

Saturday, October 18, 2020 - Monday, January 12, 2020 (Holiday)

The year 2025 (Reiwa 7) marks the 100th anniversary of the Showa era. Now that we have moved from the Heisei era to the Reiwa era, various cultural trends that were popular from the late Showa era through the early Heisei era following the period of rapid economic growth are attracting attention, to the point that they are being called the “Showa Retro Boom.” This exhibition explores the appeal of “Showa Retro,” which attracts people today, focusing on analog products and materials featuring eye-catching retro designs used from the mid-Showa era onwards.
