The Kuroiso Cherry Blossom Festival, a springtime tradition, will be held.

Kuroiso Park, one of the leading cherry blossom viewing spots in the northern Tochigi Prefecture and a long-loved recreational area for citizens, will host the “Kuroiso Cherry Blossom Festival” in collaboration with Nasushiobara City, allowing visitors to enjoy approximately 300 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino, Satozakura, and Yaezakura varieties.

●Nighttime cherry blossom viewing: Lanterns will be lit and the cherry blossoms will be illuminated, so you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night as well. ◇Illumination period: Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 – Sunday, April 12th, 2026 ◇Illumination time: Every day during the illumination period, from dusk until 10 p.m. ● Requests for visitors ◇There will be stalls set up in the venue, but we ask that you take your trash home with you. There are no trash cans, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation in advance. ◇We do not provide advance notice of when the stalls will open, close, or resume. Even during the festival period, stalls may close at the discretion of the vendors. We do not provide information on which stalls are open. ◇There is free parking, but the number of parking spaces is limited. It will be very crowded during the peak cherry blossom season, so please follow traffic rules and refrain from any behavior that may inconvenience other visitors. Although it is not a parking lot exclusively for large vehicles, large vehicles may use it. 《Information Regarding Stalls》 Stall operating hours (opening and closing times) vary depending on each individual stall. Some stalls will be open until around 7-8 p.m. to coincide with the light-up, but we cannot guarantee that they will be open even during the event period. We apologize for any inconvenience, but please be aware of this before visiting. Please note that we will not be able to answer any inquiries regarding the stalls. 《Information Regarding Parking》 The Kuroiso Park grounds are open as a parking lot, but it will be very crowded during the peak cherry blossom season. It may be full and unavailable. The entrance and exit to the parking lot (grounds) are narrow and may be one-way. Traffic congestion may occur on the adjacent roads. The nearby Kuroiso Community Center parking lot and Nakagawa Riverside Park parking lot also have limited parking spaces, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation in advance.
