Shiobara area road closures and construction information

The Nunotaki Waterfall Observation Deck on the Shiobara Valley Line Trail (Yashio Course) was undergoing renovation work due to deterioration, but the renovations have now been completed and it is now open for use. (Updated December 18, 2025)

Some sections of the Shiobara Valley Line Trail (Yashio Course) are closed due to erosion control work. The road closure will be lifted around the end of January 2026. (Updated October 3, 2025)

The Yuhinotaki Line Trail is closed from Naginataiwa to the Maeyama Happogahara Trail junction.

■The Maeyama Happogahara Line Trail is closed to traffic from the “Roaring Thunderbolt Suspension Bridge” to the “Shionoyu District.”

■Some sections of the footpath within Onuma Park (Sumaki Fuji Shinyu Line Footpath) are closed to traffic. (Updated December 5, 2025)

A section of the Shiobara Valley Trail (Yashio Course) was closed due to fallen trees, but the road closure has been lifted after the trees have been removed. (Updated December 5, 2025)
