Shiobara Area Road Closure and Construction Information

■The Nunotaki waterfall viewing platform on the Shiobara Valley Trail (Yashio Course) had been undergoing renovation due to aging, but the renovations are now complete and it is open for use. (Updated December 18, 2025)

■The Shiobara Valley Trail (Yashio Course) is closed in some sections due to erosion control work. The trail is expected to reopen around the end of January 2026. (Updated October 3, 2025)

■The Yuhi Falls Trail is closed from Naginata Rock to the Maeyama Happogahara Trail junction.

■The Maeyama Happogahara Trail is closed to traffic from the “Roaring Thunder Suspension Bridge” to the “Shio-no-yu area”.

■A section of the footpath within Onuma Park (Sumaki Fujishinyu Line footpath) is currently closed to traffic. (Updated December 5, 2025)

■A section of the Shiobara Valley Trail (Yashio Course) was closed due to fallen trees, but the closure has been lifted as the trees have been removed. (Updated December 5, 2025)
