The Emperor's Room of the Shiobara Imperial Villa was moved to its current location in 1981 and preserved in its original form.
The Emperor's Room Memorial Park is the former "Emperor's Room" of the Shiobara Imperial Villa, which was used as a summer retreat by many members of the Imperial family over three generations of the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras. It was moved to its current location in 1981 in its original form and is now preserved and open to the public. You can see the unique architectural style of the Imperial family here.
