Shiobara Onsen Visitor Center Profile
The natural beauty of the area changes with the seasons, delighting and inspiring visitors. The charm of Shiobara Onsenkyo in Nikko National Park lies in the scenic beauty of the Hoki River gorge with its more than 70 waterfalls, the forests, the mountainous landscapes of the plateau volcano, the 11 famous hot springs boasting abundant hot spring water with a history of 1200 years, and the simple and warm people who live there. Enjoy to the fullest the diverse walking trails, natural sightseeing spots, and many other attractions of Shiobara Onsenkyo.
We can coordinate walking tours and other leisurely strolls for you!
The Visitor Center will coordinate the best course for each season, taking into account the number of people, time, and the physical fitness of those walking. ○ Guided nature walks, hikes, and nature learning are available with a "Shiobara Onsen Park Conductor". The Visitor Center accepts requests for dispatching a Park Conductor (guide) from individuals to various groups, according to the needs of visitors. You can enjoy nature walks and learning together with a guide. *Dispatch is subject to a fee and requires advance reservation.
Relax at the visitor center!
・If you get tired from nature walks or hikes, please relax at the visitor center. ・In addition to the "Lecture Room" and "Gathering Corner," there is also a "Forest Bathing Zone (Visitor's Forest)" on the premises, so you can also take a break outdoors.

Access
By car: Approximately 30 minutes from Nishinasuno Interchange. By train and bus: Approximately 45 minutes by bus from Nasushiobara Station or Nishinasuno Station, then a 5-minute walk from the Nanatsuiwa Suspension Bridge bus stop.

Admission is free. *Separate participation fees apply if you wish to participate in a program.
