The canoes used for the tour are safe, recreational, double-paddle type, available in single and double-seater configurations. The field is a calm lake (dam lake), so even beginners can participate with confidence. SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) experiences are also available for a limited time from June to September. Enjoy nature and share wonderful moments with your beloved dog through canoeing and SUP!

This canoe experience plan is open to anyone from 3 to 70 years old. Choose between a single kayak (1 person) or a tandem kayak (2.5 people) and explore the field freely with a guide.
The lush, natural Itamuro Dam Lake is off-limits to the general public. This activity is designed to be safe and enjoyable for a wide range of ages, from 3 to 70 years old. Participants wear life jackets over their everyday clothes, and beginners and those who come empty-handed are welcome! Dogs are also welcome, making it a memorable experience for the whole family!

The field is mostly calm, so even beginners can enjoy it. Our guides will demonstrate and instruct you on everything from getting on and paddling to re-entering the board. Try SUP with your dog!
Our activities take place on the dam lake at Itamuro Onsen, the closest natural hot spring resort to Nasu Highlands! You can easily enjoy the experience while wearing a life jacket. Dogs are also welcome to join you on the SUP, making it a popular choice for dog lovers.

Access
Approximately 30 minutes by car from the west exit of JR Nasushiobara Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen and Tohoku Main Line (Utsunomiya Line). Approximately 20 minutes by car from the Kuroiso-Itamuro Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway.

Recommended products
Canoeing is recommended during the fresh green season (May-June) and the autumn foliage season (October-November)! SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) is recommended during the summer season (July-September)!
