The “Accommodation Tax Introduction Study Committee,” established by the Nasushiobara City Tourism Bureau and comprised of six organizations including the city’s tourism association, innkeepers’ association, and chamber of commerce, submitted a request for the introduction of an accommodation tax to Mayor Michitaro Watanabe on Thursday, May 7th.
