Nasushiobara City ranks second in Japan for raw milk production and is the top producer of raw milk on Honshu Island, with numerous cheese factories producing cheese. However, the reality is that there are few opportunities to eat locally made cheese. Through this event, we hope to introduce Nasu’s natural cheese, which is still unfamiliar to many, to both locals and people from outside the prefecture, allowing them to taste and become familiar with it, and taking the first step towards establishing Nasu as a “cheese town.”
