Nasu Senbonmatsu Ranch will be holding the “Senbonmatsu Umbrella Walk,” a limited-time event that allows visitors to enjoy strolling around the ranch rain or shine, from Monday, June 8th to Sunday, July 12th, 2026, coinciding with the rainy season including “Umbrella Day” on June 11th. This year, the second time the event has been held, 200 colorful umbrellas will be used to decorate seven locations within the ranch, including the cherry blossom-lined street and the bustling plaza. In addition, as a new feature, “Children’s Future Ranch Art Umbrellas,” created by children from Nasushiobara City on the theme of “Senbonmatsu Ranch that they love,” will be on display. This early summer limited event will transform the ranch into a photo spot that you’ll want to visit even on rainy days.
This year's new project: "Children's Future Ranch Art Umbrella"
This year, we will be launching a new project called "Children's Future Ranch Art Umbrella," in which approximately 50 children from Nasushiobara City will participate. The children will paint pictures on transparent umbrellas based on the theme of "My Favorite Senbonmatsu Ranch," and the completed art umbrellas will be displayed within the ranch. Through the umbrellas, which are drawn with the free imagination unique to children, we hope to connect the local community with the ranch and create an opportunity to envision the future of Senbonmatsu Ranch together. Approximately 50 completed art umbrellas will be displayed on the ceiling of the bustling plaza and other locations from June 13th (Saturday) to July 12th (Sunday). (Cooperation: Nippon Rikagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd./Kitpas)
With approximately 200 umbrellas available, you can enjoy a stroll through the ranch whether it's raining or sunny.
Seven photo spots are set up to make your stroll more enjoyable, rain or shine.
