This suspension bridge spans the Hoki River behind the Shiobara Monogatari Museum. It gets its name from the way the maple trees along the river turn a fiery red. It is one of Shiobara's most famous spots for viewing autumn leaves and is also conveniently located for accessing tourist attractions such as Myounji Temple.

Parking Information

For group customers

We do not have a parking area for medium-sized or large buses. Please do not enter the parking area. We ask that you only drop off and pick up passengers on the side of the road and then transport the buses to the nearby free parking lots, "Shiobara Onsen Exchange Plaza" or "Furumachi Prefectural Parking Lot." We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

〇Shiobara Monogatari-kan (Shiobara Story Museum) 23 spaces, directly in front of the Beni Suspension Bridge. There is a "Vegetable Direct Sales Store" facing the road. The first floor has a shop, exhibition room, and tourist information. The second floor has the "Cafe Restaurant Lamp". *From 10/24, temporary parking (former Ashikaga Bank site) 17 spaces

Shiobara Onsen Exchange Plaza (300m before the 1st stop, 5-minute walk)
