Numappara Marshland Flowering Information [As of July 4th]

In the Numappara Marshland , located at the foot of the Nasu mountain range, seasonal flowers are gradually beginning to bloom, making it a time to enjoy the colors of the season.
Along the boardwalk, you can see lovely alpine and wetland plants, and enjoy a stroll along with a refreshing breeze.

Because it is located at a high altitude, the temperature will be lower than in the city. Please bring something to wear over your clothes when you come.

Please be careful of your footing while you stroll around.

Please enjoy the scenery unique to this time of year in the naturally rich Numappara Marshland.

We have received numerous reports of bear sightings in other areas as well. When you go out, please be sure to bring bear bells, bear spray, and other bear repellent items and enjoy your walk.

The frequent reports of bear sightings remind us once again that Numappara Marsh is a mountainous area inhabited by Asiatic black bears. When strolling through the area, please be sure to take proper precautions against bears.

Bear sightings are increasing across Japan, and black bears have also been spotted in the vicinity of Numappara Marsh. Please take sufficient precautions against bears when walking in the area.
